HOM Church Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller
The controller of personal data is HOM Church – a congregation of the Church of God in Christ in Warsaw (hereinafter: “HOM Church”), operating within the Church of God in Christ, registered in the Register of Churches and other Religious Associations of the Ministry of Interior and Administration (Division A, item 28).

2. What data we collect
Depending on which features of the website you use, we may process the following personal data:

  • email address and phone number (e.g., when using the contact form or registering for events),
  • first and last name – only if voluntarily provided (e.g., to facilitate contact and for the security of event organization),
  • technical data related to your use of the website (e.g., IP address, cookies, browser and device information).
    We do not collect children’s data.

3. Purposes and legal basis for data processing
Your data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Contact – to respond to inquiries sent via the form or email (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the controller’s legitimate interest),
  • Event registration and management (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – necessary for the performance of a contract),
  • Newsletter and communication – if you consent to receive information (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR – consent),
  • Statistics and website improvement – through analytical tools and cookies (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

The website uses cookies, which can be:

    In the case of some tools (e.g., Google, Meta, TikTok), data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including to the USA – always based on appropriate legal safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

  • until the purpose for which they were collected is fulfilled (e.g., after an event has concluded),
  • until you withdraw your consent (e.g., by unsubscribing from the newsletter),
  • no longer than is consistent with applicable laws.

  • rectify your data,
  • erase your data (“right to be forgotten”),
  • restrict processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing,
  • withdraw consent at any time (if processing was based on consent),
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
